I edit.
You don’t need every option.
You need the right ones.
I’ll do the digging and narrow the possibilities to the hotels, experiences, and ideas I genuinely think fit you, then give you enough context to make the final decision confidently.
About Andava
For me, a trip often starts with dinner. I want to know where I’m eating, what the local cuisine does best, and which meal might become the one I’m still talking about years later.
But that’s me.
When I plan for you, I want to know what your version of that is. What are you most excited about? What makes a vacation actually feel like a vacation? What will you remember when you’re home?
That’s where we start.
Meet Rashana
Food is usually the first thing I think about when I start planning somewhere new. I want to know where I’m having dinner, what the local cuisine does best, and which meal might become the one I’m still talking about years later. Sushi, especially omakase, and pasta are perpetual favorites, but I’m happiest trying whatever a place is known for.
I travel internationally a few times every year, and I approach home much the same way. I live in Chicago, where I’m always trying a new restaurant, exploring another part of the city, or going to a show. And when I’m not out, I’m usually at home with my two cats and whatever hobby has captured my attention that month.
But dinner is my thing. Your thing may be completely different.
That’s what I want to understand when we plan together: what makes a trip feel joyful to you? Maybe it’s food. Maybe it’s architecture, beaches, nightlife, history, design, or having nowhere you need to be before noon. Once I understand that, we can build the trip around it.
What this looks like when we plan together
You don’t need every option.
You need the right ones.

Nothing exists in isolation. The perfect hotel isn’t perfect if it’s nowhere near where you’ll want to spend your time. A dinner reservation isn’t worth having if getting there makes the rest of the day a headache.
I think about how the pieces work together, so the trip feels considered from beginning to end.
A thoughtfully planned trip doesn’t need to account for every hour.
We’ll handle the things worth planning ahead, but leave enough space to sleep in, wander into somewhere interesting, stay for another drink, or change your mind entirely.
The plan is there to make the trip easier, not to become another thing you have to manage.
Andava gives you the confidence of knowing the important details are handled without turning your vacation into a schedule you have to follow.
Behind the Planning
Before Andava, I built my career in customer experience, ecommerce, and creating better ways for people to navigate choices.
That experience shapes the way I plan travel today. More options aren’t always more helpful. My job is to understand what matters to you, filter out what doesn’t, and give you thoughtful recommendations with a clear reason behind them.
As a Fora travel advisor, I pair that approach with industry relationships, preferred hotel partnerships, and access to amenities and benefits that can make a great trip even better.
You bring me the vision. I’ll help make sense of everything between that and getting on the plane.
Ready When You Are
You don’t need to know the hotel, have an itinerary, or even have every detail figured out.
Tell me where you’re thinking about going, who you’re traveling with, and what would make the trip feel special. We’ll figure out the rest together.
